Ever since college I knew I had what it takes to be a success in business, that is why I knuckled down and, as well as studying hard, got some important work experience under my belt.
Getting work experience not only shapes you and helps to show what is needed in the real world but also shows potential employers that you are dedicated enouh to go out and get that work experience and try to better yourself. On occasion if you show the right kind of commitment on your placement your employers can see the potential and drive and offer you a full time place. That is what happened to me and I have gone from strength to strength since then.
It has been a good few years since I left college but I still stay in contact with some of the chaps that I went with and nothing beats catching up over a nice malt whisky or two.
I know that despite my years of experience there is always something to be learned so I have found an open mind is one of the best tools to have and who knows the next Facebook or Apple could be just around the corner.
As we get ready to send our son to college for the first time, we can feel the pressure on our wine gift basket to provide the cash which is necessary to do that.
That being said, we’re probably one of the few families capable of being able to do that. Of course, we’ve saved some as well, but that isn’t ideal for anyone either. Budgets are tight and saving $250 or more per month starting when your kid is only in kindergarden, or before, simply isn’t possible for most families in this economy.
With college expenses growing faster than inflation by a large run and those same expenses out growing even the stock market, what’s a family to do?
Going to college can be an amazing experience and time for you to grows as a person. You need to seize every moment to learn all that you can and become a more rounded informed person. World religions is one of the best classes you can take. The class wont go into the debatable topics like is mormonism a cult or what parts of the catholic religion might be wrong. But a World’s religion class will give you a brief overview of all the different religions in the World. Whether you are already a religious person or not these lessons will help you grow to be a great human being and make you more understanding of others people’s beliefs.
It can be difficult to access courses on religion though depending on where you are based. Many countries, particularly some Islamic ones will filter and block all content all religions except Muslim. In these cases you need to be careful and use a VPN to safely bypass these filters – this UK proxy service will enable you to access religious courses, but note that it also encrypts you connection which is essential in some countries.
Sociology is a great class to take after or before your religious class. In your sociology class you will learn more about why people behave the way that they do. With this insight you will be able to better understand why certain religions believe a certain way. In your sociology class you will also learn to be a lot more open minded to the way people act in their every day lives. You will also find that your socialogy class will help you understand the way people act whether they are religious or not. This will help prepare you for the real world and help you get a job.
Don’t confuse the study of religion with having to be religious in some ways it’s better to approach this subject from an objective point of view. Whether you believe in a particular religion or not, there’s something to be learned from most of the world’s major faiths. They all form part of human history and so are important to all us.
