Mission Statement

Founded in 1987, S.C.A.T.E. aims to promote environmental awareness in the Central College community by providing opportunities to serve, learn, and enjoy the environment.

Projects

Adopt-a-Highway cleanup (conducted twice a year)

Work day at Big Rock Park
Vegetarian Dinner
Presented Environmental Health issues at Health Fair
Conduct several petition drives & activities to raise environmental awareness
Recycling initiative on campus. A recycling bin in every dorm, and students who use them!
Supported the Focus the Nation & National Teach-in events
