August 2012 – Jared starts at Central (Major: Undecided)
“I chose Central because I was able to get a well-rounded education and play on a nationally ranked golf team. I couldn’t have asked for more and I am glad I came here.”
March 2013 – Jared declares: Actuarial science (Also, he’s named Most Valuable Freshman golfer!)
“I love actuarial science because I am able to take interesting math and business classes. I also get to study for actuarial exams on the side. The best thing at Central is that you can accomplish anything you put your mind to.The professors offer great support and knowledge, which can help you achieve your goals.”
March 2014 – Jared is named Iowa Conference men’s golfer of the week, wins golf tournament in North Carolina.
July 2014 – Jared becomes intern for SES Insurance Brokerage Services in Santa Ana, California.
August 2014 – Jared travels to Merida, Yucatan, for a semester abroad.
May 2015 – Jared interns for Transamerica in Cedar Rapids.
August 2015 – Jared lands a job with Transamerica.
