Summer Housing

Campus housing is available from May through mid-August. Educational, professional, religious organizations, youth groups and sports clinics are welcome to stay at Central College.  In addition, the college offers competitive rates on housing for interns/co-ops working in the community.

We offer modern, furnished, air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms suitable for single or double occupancy. Free parking can be found outside building entrances or just a short walk away. An information desk and campus security are located in our Maytag Student Center. Central Market, Fred’s and the Global Café provide excellent meals and snacks for our guests.

Our residence halls offer traditional collegiate-style living. The townhouses, ranging in size from 12 beds to 36 beds, offer more intimate living spaces arranged in suites.

  • Laundry facilities
  • Lounges
  • Kitchenettes
  • Vending machines
  • Linen packages: pillows, blankets, sheets, towels and washcloths (available for a small fee)
  • Shared public spaces
  • Guest pass to Maytag Student Center fitness area

Most buildings also provide:

  • Microwaves
  • Televisions

Several buildings offer:

  • Elevators
  • ADA equipped rooms

Internship Housing

Interns working in the community can rent housing for their stay in Pella.  Intern/co-op housing is available year-round. See Internship Housing Information for details on internship housing on campus.

Interns are housed in townhouses on campus. The townhouses offer shared living space and kitchens. There is one bath for every two rooms.
